These handmade, 3D-printed lamps combine craftsmanship with modern technology. Each design is by artist Pim Loef and produced in small quantities in his studio in the Netherlands. A story of craftsmanship and innovation

Pim Loef is a visual artist with a background in metal and wood sculpture, installations, and stage art. His creative journey has taken him from art festivals and installations to the studio, where he now creates sustainable lighting objects using 3D printing techniques. His work combines aesthetics and functionality, with an eye for detail and the environment.

Sustainable materials with character

Each lamp is constructed layer by layer using PLA : a biodegradable material made from corn starch or sugarcane. Natural fibers such as pine, bamboo , and cork are also used. These materials give the lamp a warm, matte appearance and create a unique interplay of light and texture. No mass production, but small-scale, carefully crafted production.

Materials & textures:

PLA copper – warm red and subtly glassy
PLA aluminum – cool silver-gray with a modern look
PLA white – smooth, paper-like and evenly lit
PLA green – soft olive green and natural
60% PLA / 40% pine – woody with subtle variations
60% PLA / 40% bamboo – matte and natural, with a soft sheen
60% PLA / 40% cork – dark, robust and less translucent (suitable as a lamp base)

How to assemble your lamp

Each lamp consists of a base and a shade – and you determine the combination yourself:

✔ Step 1: Choose your lamp base
Low foot = compact and cozy
High foot = elegant and airy

✔ Step 2: Choose a lampshade

Low crinkle hood – ideal for a low foot
High crinkle hood – fits nicely against the high foot
Round hood – fits both and provides balance

✔ Step 3: Choose color and material
Choose copper, pine, cork or bamboo – tailored to your style and interior.

✔ Step 4: Completely delivered
Each lamp comes with an E14 LED light source , carefully matched to the shade for a warm light distribution.

Styling tip from Noii HOME

Choose a lamp with a natural texture—for example, pine or bamboo—and pair it with a vintage wooden cabinet or wall shelf. This will enhance the interplay of natural materials. A tall lamp with a round shade next to an armchair also looks beautiful, adding a subtle, soft touch.
