The spacious Batavia bamboo basket serves two purposes. It's a great storage solution, and it also serves as a stylish small side table in two different sizes, making it particularly effective when combined. The bamboo used is relatively thickly cut, making it exceptionally stable.

Bamboo is an extremely rapidly renewable resource that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing facility, thus avoiding unnecessarily long transport routes.

This basket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we employ only mature and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
