Imperfectus XIX is a unique wall object in which natural materials, soft color nuances, and artisanal detail take center stage. The merino wool base features a soft blush-beige hue and has been naturally dyed with onion. This gives the work a warm, peaceful undertone without the color becoming overtly pink.

The linen, naturally dyed with avocado and iron, adds depth and a subtle contrast. The composition is kept intentionally simple, with vertical planes and a soft, layered structure. The frayed edge of the linen gives the work character, while the light felt panel on the right provides calm and clarity.

Fine gold lurex accents are minimally incorporated into the surface and catch the light very subtly. Not conspicuously shiny, but just enough to give the work a touch of refinement.

From a distance, Imperfectus XIX looks soft and serene; up close, you can see the fibers, the color nuances, and the small irregularities inherent in handmade textile work. It is precisely these understated details that make the piece special.

care & material

Vilt & Vlow artworks are made from high-quality, mulesing-free merino wool and natural materials. Wool is naturally dirt- and moisture-repellent, so it stays beautiful for a long time. Dust can be carefully removed with a feather duster, lint roller, or a hairdryer on a cold, low setting.

Avoid direct and prolonged sunlight to prevent discoloration of the natural materials. Small stains can be carefully dabbed with a slightly damp cloth.
