Limes II is a unique hand-felted wall object by Vilt & Vlow, made from natural beige merino wool and white silk fibres. Soft horizontal lines give the felted surface a calm rhythm and subtle texture. The piece is finished in a natural wood floater frame and measures 23 × 23 cm.

Material & texture

The natural beige merino wool forms a soft base. White silk fibres add light nuances to the surface: not overtly shiny, but with a soft vibrancy when the light catches it. The combination of beige and white gives the piece a warm, understated appearance.

The horizontal lines break up the felted surface without making the composition feel busy. From a distance, you mainly see the calm form and natural tones. Up close, the fibres, subtle colour nuances and soft variations in height become visible. It is precisely these details that give the handmade felt its character.

The natural wood floater frame surrounds the piece and complements the soft tones of the wool. The compact size makes Limes II beautiful as a standalone artwork on a small wall, but also as a connecting element in a larger wall composition.

Styling tip from Noii HOME

Give Limes II a place on a calm, light wall where the horizontal lines and soft structure become visible. Hang it solo in a small niche, above a narrow sideboard or next to a cabinet. Combine with wood, linen, wool and ceramics for a warm harmony of materials.

Care & material

Wool is naturally dirt- and moisture-repellent. Carefully remove dust with a feather duster, lint roller or a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. Avoid direct and prolonged sunlight to prevent discolouration of the natural materials. Small stains can be carefully dabbed with a slightly damp cloth.
