material
The Madala wall hanging is made of banana fibers , a natural material derived from the stems of banana plants. Only old, dying plants are used, after which the fibers are dried in the sun and hand-woven into sturdy strands. Cotton cords are added for light accents, giving the wickerwork a fresh and modern look.
