Metal candle snuffer with ring-shaped handle – pre-loved

A pre-loved candle snuffer made of dark metal with a long, flat handle, ring-shaped ends, and a conical snuffer. The surface is weathered and shows various dark grey, silver-grey, and rust-brown nuances. It is precisely these discolorations and signs of use that give the metal character and make each part of the object slightly different.

The simple geometric shapes and visible construction give the candle snuffer a sober, somewhat brutalist appearance. The long metal line, coarse curves, and freely hanging cap make it more than just a practical utensil. When stood upright, it looks almost like a small metal sculpture.

By placing the conical cap over the flame, the candle is extinguished without blowing.

Styling tip

Let the candle snuffer rest upright on its conical cap and place the handle tilted backwards. This creates a strong diagonal line among round candle holders, vases, or glass objects. Beautiful on a large art book, combined with one low glass candle holder. The clear glass catches the light, while the dark, weathered metal provides contrast.

You can also lay it next to a group of candle holders. Keep the rest of the composition simple so that the unique shape and patina remain visible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What characterizes our pre-loved collection?

At Noii HOME you will find a carefully curated selection of vintage, antique and other pre-loved interior pieces. We select based on form, material and finish, with an eye for craftsmanship and the beauty of objects with a history.

The magic lies in the combination: a vase from a bygone era alongside contemporary design, or a vintage lamp that gives a calm space a distinctive touch. This creates an interior that feels personal and can evolve over the years.

For each item we describe its condition and, where known, its origin and age. Patina and subtle signs of use are sometimes part of the piece's character.

What are the shipping costs?
