Nero side table Day
The Nero Day side table has a modern look and complements almost any interior style. It can be used independently or combined with a taller side table from the same collection. This table is also available in black.
Nero collection
All items in the Nero collection are made of sustainable teak. Teak grows naturally in India, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, but due to large-scale logging, it now only grows in the natural forests of Myanmar. Teak was introduced to Indonesia in the 16th century, and large plantations were established during the Dutch colonial era. After independence, the Indonesian government managed these plantations. This has proven successful: teak remains economically valuable and is sustainably replanted.
Nearly all the teak used for furniture in Indonesia comes from these plantations. For local use, teak from small farms is sometimes used. This ensures that tropical forests remain untouched. Since 2016, the Indonesian government has regulated all timber exports. Every piece of wood can be traced back to its source. This system is part of a trade agreement with the EU and guarantees that only legal timber is imported.
This approach makes the use of teak wood for furniture economically sound and environmentally sustainable.
Materials:
Teak.
Maintenance:
The wood has a water-based coating that protects against water and moisture stains. Use the table indoors and do not allow liquids to remain on the wood for extended periods.
– Minor damage or scratches in the wood can be treated on site with transparent or light-coloured oil.
Why choose the Nero Day side table?
The table combines modern design with sustainable teak. It complements virtually any interior style and offers flexibility: it can be used individually or combined with other tables from the Nero collection. Thanks to the high-quality wood and meticulous workmanship, the table is durable, stylish, and practical.
