A hand-felted wall object in natural beige and natural white merino wool, subtly blended with shimmering Tencel fibers derived from eucalyptus. Fine Lurex threads run through the work here and there like a soft vein. Plexus V-I is the smaller variation from the Plexus series: compact in size, but bold in form, relief, and appearance.

Plexus V-I is a unique wall object where wool, movement, and artisanal detail converge. The base of natural beige and white merino wool gives the work a calm, soft aesthetic. The Tencel fibers provide a very subtle sheen that only becomes visible when the light hits it.

Over this moves an organic felt shape that emerges like a knot, giving the work depth, direction, and character. The Plexus series requires more material and a more laborious creation process than flatter felted wall works. As a result, this piece gains a more pronounced form and an almost object-like presence, without losing its soft and understated character.

The subtle Lurex threads are refinedly integrated into the surface and catch the light softly. Not overtly shiny, but just enough to give the work something special. It is precisely the combination of soft wool, organic shape, natural sheen, and understated details that makes Plexus V-I fascinating to view up close.

Due to the 23 × 23 cm size, this work is compact, yet certainly not inconspicuous. From a distance, Plexus V-I looks calm and serene; up close, you see the rounded shapes, the fibers, the relief, and the small details characteristic of handmade textile work.

The art pieces by Vilt & Vlow are made from high-quality, mulesing-free merino wool and natural materials. Wool is naturally dirt- and moisture-repellent, ensuring it stays beautiful for a long time. Dust can be carefully removed with a feather duster, lint roller, or a hairdryer on a cold, low setting.

Avoid direct and prolonged sunlight to prevent discoloration of the natural materials. Small stains can be carefully dabbed with a slightly damp cloth.
