Our poufs are made from plant-based fibers, so they smell and feel wonderfully like nature.

Raffia (Corypha utan) is native to the steppe and woodland regions of Southeast Asia. Approximately every two years, the plant renews its leaves and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by humans, dried in the sun for several days to weeks, and woven into wickerwork, depending on the desired degree of browning. Its relative rarity and the increased processing effort make this material somewhat more expensive compared to other plant fibers. Although little known in Europe, the material has proven itself in Southeast Asia among the local population in the form of all kinds of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft yet robust nature.
