Material: rattan
Our trays are made from plant fibres, so they smell and feel wonderfully like nature.
Rattan usually grows in large numbers in dense forests, where it is considered an invasive plant that takes up space from other plants and takes a lot of nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without chemical aids, must be cut regularly and can be used as a material for furniture and baskets after drying. This makes rattan a very sustainable and abundant material.
