Imperfectus V is a compact wall object centered on texture and layering. Vertical bands of different felted materials create a subtle rhythm without making the piece feel cluttered. The soft transitions and slight reliefs result in a work that does not impose itself, but rather invites close inspection.

The artwork is entirely hand-felted from mulesing-free merino wool and other natural fibers. The composition is intentionally loose and asymmetrical. The material was allowed to follow its own path, creating an organic appearance and a natural balance. The combination of soft grey tones, beige, and a powdery pink-brown section gives the piece depth and refinement.

The wooden floating frame encompasses the work in an understated way, allowing the felted surface to speak for itself. Due to its compact size, Imperfectus V is versatile: beautiful on the wall, but also perfectly suited to be placed on a sideboard, shelf, or in an open cabinet. The artworks by Vilt & Vlow are made from high-quality, mulesing-free merino wool. Wool is naturally dirt- and moisture-repellent, which helps it stay beautiful for a long time. Dust can be carefully removed with a feather duster, lint roller, or a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. Avoid direct and prolonged sunlight to prevent discoloration. Small stains can be gently dabbed with a slightly damp cloth.
