set of 2 vintage glass candle holders – lotus duo – holmegaard – sidse werner
This set of two lotus-shaped glass candleholders is a beautiful example of Scandinavian design from the 1970s. Designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard, Denmark, it is recognizable by its flowing petal shape and characteristic relief that softly captures the light.
The heavy, transparent holders are hand-finished and have a subtle aqua blue sheen typical of Holmegaard glass. Their sculptural shape makes them as decorative as they are functional—a timeless accent that brings peace and ambiance to any interior.
Styling tip from Noii HOME
Place these glass holders on a dark wooden surface or a linen background to highlight their texture and sheen. They're beautiful with tea lights for a warm glow, or without a candle as a small piece of art on an open shelf or windowsill.
