With the Empat laundry basket from Soeji, you can keep your laundry out of sight without a plastic laundry basket in the corner. The basket is handwoven from brown banana fibres and finished with a white cotton cord pattern. The loose lid keeps the contents out of sight.
Place it in your bedroom or next to the washing machine. The brown fibres give the basket a warm look; the white pattern provides contrast. Empat is also a great storage place for loose throws.
Which size is right for you?
Empat is available in L and XL, individually or as a set of both sizes. L has a diameter of 42 cm and is 40 cm high. XL has a diameter of 50 cm and is 49 cm high. Measure the space where you want to place the basket so you know which size fits beforehand.
Handwoven on Java
The basket is made on Java, Indonesia. The banana fibres come from the layered stems of old banana plants. They are sun-dried and rolled into strands, creating the brown colour and coarse texture of the weave. Due to the craftsmanship and natural material, the colour, shape and dimensions may vary slightly.
